The Trap, the Rocket

I wrote a poem!

What is that burning soul?
Spiraling vestige of the null
What is that burning soul?
Lost regret, yearning remains

A voice is singing, calling out
Reaching for those without
Draw them in, fence them in
Slaughter them all, save them all

Freedom beneath a pale blue sky
Freedom for no one at all
A grasping fool was never born
An alien child is all that was
